The landscape lighting plan specifies each fixture and its placement, and groups fixtures in the various circuits. Each circuit is evaluated for total length, wattage and voltage drop, and calculations are made for appropriate lamps and wire size.

Fixtures are specified by the Nightscaping® component number and can be viewed in the online catalog. Transformers are specified based on the total load, and the transformer wiring diagram is included for the specific design. Total wattage for each circuit is indicated.

Systems are designed to allow for exapnsion - often, the homeowner will add a fixture or two at some point in the future. Transformer total capacity and circuit loads are specified accordingly.
