Deer and rabbits have a sense of smell one hundred times greater than ours, so they definitely react to these powerful repellents, made with a concentrated garlic oil that is 1,000 times stronger than garlic juice.

Aside from fencing the entire property, these deer repellant units are the most effective control we have found. The effectiveness of these units is based on long known data that the garlic odor repels deer, elk and rabbits.

When first establishing control of your deer population, use plenty of of the Plant Pro-tec units. In extreme cases, where deer have been used to feasting on the same plants over and over, you may need 2 - 3 units on very susceptible plants. Once the feeding habit has been broken, you will need far fewer units.

Typically, the second year will require only half of the number needed the first year. It's best to have some in reserve, and to start protecting your plants before they are visited by hungry deer.
