Dover Bay, Idaho Landscape DesignThe Dover Bay Project at Dover, Idaho demands strict environmental responsibility in the planning, construction and landscaping phases. A comprehensive Design and Construction document outlines best management practices to comply with local and federal environmental regulations. Preservation of existing wetlands and lake ecosystems is strictly enforced. Compliance with these tough standards requires detailed submissions to the Dover Bay Design Review Board throughout the design process. Landscaping planning includes careful consideration of grading and drainage to verify that existing ecosytems will be preserved. Though the depth and detail of the Dover Bay landscape design process required more work than the "average" landscape design, I am pleased to know that the landscaping will contribute to, rather than detract from, the environmental integrity of our beautiful area. The following files illustrate part of our landscape design process for Mr. Bill Strand, one of the first homeowners to build at Dover Bay. These and other landscaping drawings were required by the Dover Bay Design Review Board. (These drawings have been reduced in size and resolution for web presentation) |
